Admission FAQ                                   

General Information on admissions:

Primrose School accepts applications for pre-KG ONLY, as there is only one section per standard, of only 30 students. The general rule is we do not encourage parents to apply whose employment is transferrable, and prefer only permanent residents of Pondicherry.

When do admissions open ?

We take applications for pre-KG starting in December, but we do not interview the children until April, as their age in December is quite young still. Our final decisions on admissions are known only in April.

Whom do I contact for that information?

Details of children seeking admission to pre-KG  may be handed in at the School Office on any day from 9:30 am to 4 pm. However, information on seat availability will be known finally in March.

When does the school year begin?

Our school year opens in the first week of June.

What is the age limit for admission?

The age of the child must be 2 + as on March 31st of the admitting year. Children completing two years AFTER April 1st will not be eligible for admission.

Do you admit children in the middle of the year, for Vijayadasami?

We do not admit any children in the middle of the year.
