Congratulations!
To Javeed of 6th standard
who grabbed the first prize in the Southern Regional section of a nationwide essay competition conducted by WWF (World Wide Fund for Nature). The competition was conducted nationwide on 22nd April 2007. The participants were to write a research paper on the topic ‘Water is Precious’. In the Southern Region including all of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry Javeed stood first in the Junior category comprising 4th to 6th standards.
In a Felicitation function held at Adhiparasakthi Matriculation School Chennai on 30th June, 2007, Mr. C. Venkataraman, a scientist from Marine Biological Station gave away the prizes.
